Hello! We're finally posting content! For those of you who don't know who we are or what we do, this video is for you!
This is more an exercise in sound and montage than a narrative. When making "Borough," I gave myself a challenge. I wanted to complete most of the sound design before filming. After that was done, I'd shoot scenes to go along with the sound. I (mostly) did this. Some of the sound (cars, etc.) was added in post, but the majority* was completed beforehand. While filming, I had three ideas in mind. Two of them fell through so I went with this. Essentially, "Borough" is a montage held together by ambient sound which shows a day in a small town. As for the somewhat creepy audio (which may not seem like it fits), I find something inherently creepy about calm and normalcy. Please enjoy. -Ryan Dennehy
